Well, yesterday I just dropped my iPad
I'm sending it to repair today.

So I took the opportunity to try to make a game transfer to my iPhone.

As announced earlier by Brad, I logged off from game center.
After that I installed the game in the iPhone.
Started it.
When it started it asked me to login in the Game Center.
All good, but I got a game over 1200 awakes in the past.
In my iPad I'm over awake 2100.
In the iPhone I'm in awake 480...
Almost two years lost....

And Brad assured (he was quite irritated at the time) that the IT-team had it tested and it worked, so "we" were just freaking out by the lost of the Game Center app in iOS 10...
Yeah, why to bother since no one transfers games anymore...

Hi, yes I do have a full encrypted backup of my iPad .
That's my hope.

But, on the other side, iPhones and iPads backups don't mix
You cannot use one for the other.

I already contacted epic CS to see if they can look into it (in the servers)

I see, I didn't know that. Fingers crossed for you then. I think Avalokitty of this forum had a similar problem and Chair sorted it out.

What a hack !? the two devices must be in the same network? at same time?
I tried it with my iPhone, didn't work. Sure they can give back a compensantion...
I already had 1,900,000,000 Chips from last time THEY screwed it (but at the time, I was at the 'very beginning' of it, awake around 400-700, now I was near 2,200 !)
chips are nothing when talking about capped gems (darkfires, stat gems)

:(

I know that Epic/Chair isn't interested in this game anymore.
And, if the worst happens, well, the message is clear: don't dedicate your time to go 'too far' in the game. You may lose it all in a blink !

That's disappointing as well as frustrating. Sorry you of all people have this problem. I am sure you are ahead of me here but do you have a screenshot of a recent Technical Ticket refresh? Could they find your save with that information. That is how they helped me when my game crashed.
Hope you solve this!

That's the first thing I sent them (from both devices, showing that the mcpid was the same)
Besides the full encrypted backup (this is important), I activated iCloud, and so on.

But is really frustrating is that it took three day for CS to sent me this...

As I said, my hope now is that the backup will do.

They are clearly 'turning the lights off', I mean, in my first Email to them i said "I have a full backup. iCloud was active. the device is no longer in my possession. I'm awaiting the replacement." and that I just wanted to know "Do I have an up to date game save?"

Until now, they were incapable of answering that single question (I start to think that the 'CS people' doesn't have a clue about how to verify this), and, based on their answers so far, my single only, remaining hope is my local iTunes full backup.
If i would depend on them, it's just: "We can compensate you with gold + chips".
I already had 2Billion gold, 1.9Billion+15 thousand chips !
and chips doesn't make for the gems, in no single way :(

since I have being so negative lately,

Make things right,

I'm still a bit frustrated (even with myself), but from my last private exchange with Brad, in the epic/chair servers they do have a basically up to date game save of my characters:

which is about my last update...
chair CS continues to be something, but at the end, they managed to recover my saves.
so now, i just have to wait a bit more until I get my iPad and can play again.

My habit form a couple of years ago when I had a game save loss because of a device change, was to Enable Cloud Save in the game options and play the Seccian Desert. Then disable Cloud Save as there were a lot of issues with leaving it on all the time. I had the luxury of playing on two iDevices so I would then open the game on my Phone and Select Your (my) Save File from Cloud Save (Newer) or Device Save (Older).

I can't do that with my phone any more. I had updated to iOS10... Hated it and rolled back to iOS 9.xx. Game saves in 10 are backwards compatible to other iOS versions i.e. 9.5.3, but game saves on older iOS versions i.e. 8 doesn't carry forward to the higher iOS version. You get stuck in time. Basically all of your I devices need to be the same iOS to keep your games saves current across devices.

Until iOS 8.3 I could still backup my game save the above way as long as any of my iOS versions were not above 8.3. So now I back up to an older gen iPad I got off eBay that still has iOS 7.1.2 on it. Btw I still am able to manual save with fun box, which was not sanctioned by chair.
