Change Save File Bug
Introduced: 2013 Dec 19. (v1.2 Ausar Rising)

Status: Deemed fixed.
Chair claims this was fixed in early January.
No further reports since then.

Description: When you change character save files, the file that you left is written over the file that you are changing to, effectively destroying your entire save. The save file that you left is not effected.

Mitigation: Your *only* recourse for recovery is to restore your latest backup. Therefore, keep a recent backup.

"The Arc" Quest is not accessible.
Introduced: 2013 Dec 19 (v1.2 Ausar Rising)

Status: Apparently fixed
• v1.2.1 Partial fix. Some people continue to experience difficulties.
• v1.2.2 Supplemental fix.

Description: After completing all prerequi-quests, the quest to defeat the Worker remains inaccessible.

Preventive: Do not "skip the credits" when you defeat the Worker.
Mitigation: Revert to backup, if your backup is before the last time you defeated the Worker & do not skip the credits. Otherwise, unknown.

I heard they will be bringing out an update soon that will fix this Act 5 bug

I hope so. I am having trouble with the battery charge on my Ipad. Apple wants me to reset. I am afraid to until the bug is fixed. Does anybody think I will lose my game, even tho I have backed up?

You should be fine if you've backed up properly. I recommend using iTunes and backing up to your computer. Also make sure cloud is enabled on your game and play for a while with cloud on so that they also have a record of your progress. When you download the game again from the cloud turn your iPad off and on before opening the game and start it from gamecenter. Check out this video too at this link. Good luck! So it appears that ChAIR has released an utterly nonfunctional update. I still don't have Act V, nor do I have the 5000 battle chip ClashMob. In short, absolutely nothing has changed. Is this happening with anyone else?
EDIT: This update has made the game worse. They said they were going to fix a bug where Nullify still did not allow elemental titans to take elemental damage, but now I'M the one taking Darkfire elemental damage, and I have a Rainbow Defense Gem (+100%); it's like I have no defense gem at all! WTF, ChAIR? Please tell me I'm not the only one who's having these problems.

I don't have the CM for the BCs. I did get some increase in gems. One for dark elemental and one for attack.
I haven't played yet. I am afraid to until TamL gives the ok

Check out my latest video about the update at this link. It's safe to play, darkfire works with nullify but not element gems. There's advice in the video about what to do if you're still missing act v - send a report to chair through options, customer service and 'trouble progressing game' option - they will apparently fix your save.

My understanding is that the Act V bug is fixed unless you completed Deathless Mode while waiting (likely true for most people stuck in the bug). My own Act V is fixed, but I waited for the update before doing Act V [Deathless Mode] for fear of exactly this problem.

@Hotwings - if you have not reverted to backup, do consider it. Then you still have a playable game while you wait for further help from Chair.

@Wannabe - only *upgraded* Rare gems got a boost. The upgrade benefit has been increased retroactively, I think. Basic Rare gems remain at basic values.
